Our Story

Forged in Jagadhri. Trusted worldwide.

Four decades ago, one family workshop began hammering aluminium vessels for local kitchens. Today, Jitendra Udyog ships bulk cooking utensils and precision cookware to more than twenty countries — built on the rise of India as the world's second-largest stainless steel producer nation.

1984

The year it began

Founded by a first-generation craftsman. Managed today by Mr. Yatul Gupta — second-generation leadership focused on global exports and compliance-grade manufacturing.

The 40-Year Legacy

A second-generation manufacturer, built on three generations of utensil knowledge.

Jitendra Udyog was established in 1984 in Jagadhri — a town in northern India known for centuries as the country's utensil-making capital. What began as a small aluminium spinning workshop serving regional catering halls has grown, over forty years, into a full-spectrum manufacturing operation working across four metals and shipping finished goods to customers on three continents.

Our founder's principle was simple: if a utensil leaves our workshop, it has to survive daily use in the hardest kitchen the buyer can put it in. That principle still runs the floor today. Every vessel — whether a 22″ domestic handi or a 96″ biryani cauldron destined for a labour camp kitchen in Saudi Arabia — is inspected, weighed and stamped before it leaves.

The second generation now leads exports, technical design, and international compliance — bridging traditional craftsmanship with the LFGB, SASO and EN 631 standards that European, Middle Eastern and Southeast Asian buyers require.

The Jagadhri Advantage

Why being based in India's City of Utensils changes everything.

India is now the world's second-largest stainless steel producer, outputting 3.74 million metric tons annually with an 8–9% CAGR — the fastest in the world. Jagadhri sits at the heart of that super-cycle, and our operations draw on a raw-material ecosystem that exists nowhere else.

Advantage 01

Raw Material at Source

Jagadhri hosts India's deepest concentration of aluminium, brass, copper and stainless steel suppliers. We source within a 10-kilometre radius — no middlemen, shorter lead times, and full control of alloy grade and wall thickness against the LME index.

Advantage 02

Generational Craftsmanship

Utensil-making is a hereditary craft here. Our spinners, welders and polishers have learned their trade from family members who did the same work — a skill depth that fabrication-only competitors in other geographies cannot replicate.

Advantage 03

Finishing Ecosystem

Specialty services — mirror polishing, induction-base bonding, tri-ply cladding, anodising, tinning, laser engraving — all exist within walking distance. Complex, mixed-metal orders complete in days, not weeks.

Manufacturing Capability

In-house from metal sheet to export carton.

Process

Hand-Spinning & Power Spinning

Our spinning department handles round vessels from 19″ to 60″ diameter in single-piece construction. Hand spinning delivers seamless, stress-free walls that bulk cooking requires — no joints to fail under thermal shock or continuous open-flame use.

Process

Fabrication & SAW / TIG Welding

For vessels above 60″ and up to 100″, we shift to fabricated construction using certified SAW and TIG welding. Ideal for cauldron-scale catering, military field kitchens, and religious-institution langar halls. Heavy reinforced rims prevent warping over decades of use.

Process

Polishing & Finishing

Three finish grades: heavy-duty matte for Middle East industrial use, brushed satin for European hospitality, and retail mirror polish for domestic cookware. Each finish is executed on dedicated lines per metal to prevent cross-contamination.

Process

Quality Control & Export Packing

100% piece-level inspection. Dimensional check, weight verification, weld integrity test, food-contact compliance tagging, then sea-worthy export packing — corner protection, moisture-barrier vacuum sealing, shock-absorbing blocking, shrink film and branded master cartons.

Our Vision

To be the default global source for bulk cookware — and the most trusted private-label partner for premium kitchenware brands.

We believe India's utensil heritage deserves a bigger shelf in the world's professional kitchens. The next decade for Jitendra Udyog is about deeper certification (LFGB, SASO, EN 631), deeper OEM partnerships with European retailers and GCC hospitality groups, and deeper specialisation in the one category nobody else on earth makes as well as Jagadhri does — bulk cooking vessels at scale, engineered for decades of use.
